- we are not releasing it. we made a few copies but it sounds like crap. so we're thinking about springing for the $40 to rent a studio for a while and record some songs. it's temporarily at a standstill right now, however.
- i'll try to actually use the news page more often!!
- we're lined up for the halloween dance and new years dance at school. dates and such are unknown right now, but keep checkin' the shows page for updates.

- we've decided to go ahead and release our EP that we have recorded currently. it's not the best quailty, but our budget was $0. and for $0, i think it's pretty damn good. the official release date will come soon, but you can download some clips off the main page. i know...ABOUT FREAKIN' TIME!

- school interferes again. we have rough classes this semester, and haven't gotten to even practice since it started. we're talking to a few places about gigs. we'll see. of course, news like that would be posted on the page immediately...and don't forget to sign up for the mailing list!! those people get the news before anyone else, obviously.

- although we've reocrded everything, we've decided that the sound quailty could be much much better. we're going to record again, and hope for a new year's realease date. we'll see...sorry to get everyone hyped up, but we are working hard on it. promise.

- ok, i lied...recording hasn't happened yet, we're lazy. i revised the lyrics page to make it a bit more realistic. apparently we're scheduled to play at another school dance (THEY actually invited US back, ha). sometime in november, i hear. i have no clue. we're working hard to solidify our set so we can ACTUALLY GIG!

- recording will commence tomorrow, i believe. 100% lo-fi, we're going to do it on a standard tape recorder. (the 4 track seems to mystify all that get near it.) artist put uneeded stress upon their work in a studio, i think. plus we can't afford one. oh well, we'll deal.

-well, we didn't win at states. we "participated", though. we even have medals to prove it, ha. we also got hassled by "the man", which was damn cool, and we even got some more people exposed to the enigmatic. sweetness.

- wow, been awhile for the news page, eh? we're rehearsing tonight and shipping off tomorrow for vatech to play for the 4h bigwigs in a couple days. i'll update when we get back (friday, 6/21) and post how we did.

- we won 1st in the regional talent show. we're going to states, and if we win there, we get to play in front of 800+ people!
- no more shows lined up yet, but we're trying to set an acoustic show together. we'll see...
*03/24/02:
- our first two gigs went on (virtually) without a hitch. besides a scary bass drum catastrophe at the 3/22 show, everything else went smoothly. for detailed info on specific shows goto the new show diary!
-everyone's going to be scattered everywhere during the next 2 weeks due to spring break, so nothing new will appear for awhile. i (brooce) will personally be gone until monday, 4/1. have a great spring break everyone!
*03/10/02:
- we've been practicing pretty hard over the past 3 weeks. we've been working on perfecting our talent show songs, "respect" and "wipeout", so tomorrow we're going to start working on enigmatic originals. we hope to fit a good deal of them into our gig at the dance.

- started rehearsing for 3/17 gig. first time that we've really played with a good drummer, and some can vouch for us that it ROCKED!

and should always be fairly up-to-date.
